FULL DETAILS OF ALL GAMES IN 2026 Match Report El Plantio 19th February 2026 Inbetweeners Golf Society: A Day of Sunshine at El Plantio The Inbetweeners at El Plantio  This week, members of the Inbetweeners Golf Society gathered at El Plantio Golf Resort for their home fixture. A slightly later tee time than usual allowed the sun to properly warm the course — and, judging by the scores that came in, it must have warmed up our old bones as well. We were also delighted to welcome several new members from Holland and the UK, adding fresh faces and friendly competition to the day. The course was, as always, presented in excellent condition and provided its customary stern test, demanding accuracy, patience, and the occasional sense of humour. True to Inbetweeners tradition, it was another thoroughly enjoyable occasion for the Society — featuring plenty of quality golf, a handful of questionable shots, and, above all, excellent company throughout. MERIEKA VOLLBREGT 12 34 POINTS FULL DETAILS OF ALL GAMES IN 2026 Match Report La Finca 12th February 2026 Inbetweeners Golf Society: A Day of Sunshine and Strong Winds at La Finca Golf The Inbetweeners at La Finca  This week, members of the Inbetweeners Golf Society gathered at La Finca Golf Course to compete for the Orange Casas Trophy, generously sponsored by the owners of Orange Casas, Tracey and Rob Van Der Veer. The course was, as always, presented in excellent condition and provided its customary stern test. Long, wide, undulating fairways and lightning-fast greens would have challenged even the professionals, and the Society’s members were certainly put through their paces. Thankfully, the weather returned to glorious sunshine, although stronger winds made many of the par threes particularly demanding, with reaching the greens in one proving no easy feat. Following the round, members retired to the clubhouse for some well-earned refreshments, where the Orange Casas Trophy was presented to the day’s worthy winner. As ever with the Inbetweeners, it was another thoroughly enjoyable occasion for the Society — featuring plenty of quality golf, a handful of questionable shots, and, above all, excellent company throughout. The Day’s Winners were: 1st Place: Ruud Van Meggelen (37 points) 2nd Place: Carl Radcliffe (35 points)  3rd Place: Marieke Vollbregt (34 points) Nearest the Pin Winner Hole 7: Ruud Van Meggelen A big well done to everyone who took part, and special congratulations to all our winners! The day began with familiar British weather, with miserable, foggy, damp and cold conditions as members set off for the course.  Fortunately, anyone worrying about their waterproofs needn’t have — on arrival, we were greeted by calm, clear blue skies and much more pleasant conditions. The course was once again presented in excellent condition, serving up its usual stern test. Tight fairways and lightning-fast greens kept everyone on their toes and ensured there was no room for switching off. Following the round, members retired to the clubhouse for some well-earned refreshments, where the day’s winners were congratulated and prizes handed out — along with the usual post-round analysis and selective memory. All in all, it was another thoroughly enjoyable day for the Society, featuring plenty of good golf, a few questionable shots, and, as always, excellent company. This week, members of the Inbetweeners Golf Society enjoyed a thoroughly memorable round at the prestigious, award-winning Las Colinas Golf Course, where we were also delighted to welcome three new members to the group. Despite the weather the previous day, we were greeted by blue skies and warm sunshine. The course was presented in excellent condition, as always, offering its familiar stern test with demanding fairways and lightning-fast greens that kept everyone fully focused. After the round, members gathered in the clubhouse to enjoy some well-earned refreshments and to congratulate the day’s winners as prizes were presented. The fairways stay in perfect condition and the layout demands thought from every golfer, whatever the handicap. Players spend the day in friendly competition, work through the hard holes plus look over rich greens set among pines and lakes. The day gives members but also guests a clear way to meet other golfers and to tighten the Society’s sense of community. Early-bird entry is open. A member pays €60; a guest pays €70. We have been fortunate this year to welcome many new members from a variety of countries, and to get to know each other a little better; the original members were paired with the newcomers. This week’s format was a 2-ball Greensome, played in extremely strong winds that ensured jumpers and jackets were firmly held on throughout the round. Despite the blustery conditions, El Plantio was in excellent condition, as always, offering its usual stern test with demanding fairways and lightning-fast greens that kept everyone on their toes. After the game, everyone gathered in the clubhouse for some well-earned refreshments and to congratulate the winners as they received their prizes. All in all, it was another thoroughly enjoyable day for the Society, marked by plenty of good golf and, as always, excellent company — not to mention the opportunity to learn a few new words in foreign languages!
