Inbetweeners Golf Society: A Day of Cloud but no rain at Font Del Llop Golf Course Match Report – Ahmed’s Tandoori Trophy 7th May at Font Del Llop Golf Course! he Inbetweeners at Font Del Llop Golf Course This week, the Inbetweeners Golf Society gathered at Font Del Llop Golf Resort to compete for the Ahmed’s Tandoori Trophy, kindly sponsored by Ahmed. The day began with warm sunshine and a gentle breeze, conditions that remained pleasant through most of the afternoon before the wind picked up and added a new challenge to the game. The fairways and greens were in excellent condition; however, the rough was extremely thick and dense, making accuracy from the tee essential — something that proved challenging for some players. Nevertheless, there were some fantastic performances across the field, with plenty of competitive scoring, dramatic moments, and, in true Inbetweeners style, everyone took it all in their stride. In the evening, members and their wives gathered at Ahmed’s Tandoori Restaurant, where everyone enjoyed a wonderful meal and thoroughly good company. Later in the evening, Ahmed presented the prizes to the day’s winners. The Inbetweeners would like to extend a huge thank you to Ahmed for his generous sponsorship and hospitality throughout the day. The Day’s Winners were: “Congratulations to our top three finishers in today’s competition. In 1st place, with a outstanding 32 points, Ruud Van Meggelen – In 2nd place, on a superb 30 points, Murdo MacDonald. And in 3rd place, with 28 points, Garry Garbett – Another Very Good Score..
